Supergirl Season 6 Will Be Last and Reason Behind Cancellation of Supergirl


Supergirl will be last after season 6 . Warner Bros. Television, and The CW have announced that Supergirl season 6 will be the DC series' final season. 
Supergirl will be the second Arrowverse TV show to end, following Arrow series itself, which wrapped after eight seasons in January earlier this year.

The reason behind the cancellation of Supergirl reportedly decided to end up or cancellation of Supergirl series due to the show's declining ratings and production delays.

The series followed Kara Zor-El aka Supergirl, who is Superman's cousin and one of the last surviving Kryptonians.


Melissa Benoist, reactions to the show being canceled. 

To say it has been an honor portraying this iconic character would be a massive understatement," the actor tweeted. "Seeing the incredible impact the show has had on young girls around the world has always left me humbled and speechless.

Follow-up tweet, she teased what fans can expect from the upcoming Supergirl Season 6. She wrote: 

I'm so excited that we get to plan our conclusion to this amazing journey, and I cannot wait for you to see what we have in store. I promise we're going to make it one helluva final season.

Per Deadline, show is hoping to start production in September, with the cast and crew filming without Benoist until she can return to set.

Supergirl Season 6 when will air, The CW has not announced when the show's final episodes are coming out. The show does not appear on the network's line up for fall 2020 or January 2021.

Supergirl season 5 count about 1.7m+ view in starting of season but slowly it decreases about 700000-80000 per episodes at end .

Supergirl has led to a spin-off of its own in Superman & Lois series soon.
