Matt Reeves, the director of The Batman film, reveals incredible insights about the film and Robert Pattinson's role to Esquire Magazine.

The Batman will not dive into the origin story

"We've seen it so many times," Reeves said about the Batman origin story. "It's been done too much. I knew we couldn't do that."

He is a Kind of Drug Addict

For his version of Batman, Reeves was inspired by Nirvana, notably the late Kurt Cobain.
