Warner Bros reportedly canceled Irredeemable 'Batgirl'

Warner Bros. shockingly decided to shelve the Batgirl film despite being close to completion.

Due to COVID-19, the film's planned $75 million budget had exceeded $90 million.

According to reports, the movie did so poorly in early test screening that Warner Bros. opted to cut its losses.

Fans won't be able to watch Batgirl film on HBO Max or in theatres anymore.

Leslie Grace was supposed to debut in the lead role of Barbara Gordon, and Michael Keaton was set to return as Batman in the film.

Directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah (“Bad Boys for Life,” “Ms. Marvel”), the DC film was set to be released later this year.
