Marvel's upcoming Disney+ series Ms. Marvel taken more time to its debut. During the D23 event in 2019, Kevin Feige confirmed that Ms. Marvel will soon is part of MCU, and T.V show is in production alongside Moon Knight and She-Hulk.
Marvel already successfully premiered WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, and currently What if...?, and each of them written new records on the OTT platform. But still, there are two more projects on the list which has to release this year exclusively on Disney+. They are Hawkeye and Ms. Marvel. Whereas Hawkeye's release date and trailer are out already. But, Ms. Marvel's release date and other details were not revealed after Iman Vellani, casting in the lead officially.
As per the report from Variety, Marvel Studios has pushed the Disney+ Ms. Marvel series release date initially from 2021 to 2022. The reason behind this is that too many Marvel projects are already scheduled till the end of this year — Five T.V shows and Four movies. Whereas Shang-Chi, currently running in theatres and possibly soon to debut on Disney+. Eternals is also set to release in theatres on November 5. Then, starring Jeremy Renner's Hawkeye Six episode's containing series. The episodes of the series will start streaming from November 24, which means releasing each episode every weekend will takes a month. And, Disney+ has yet not released Marvel's any other show between a streaming period of any series. Likely, this will create risk in the case of viewership. And, the most anticipated superhero film of this year Spider-Man: No Way Home is already set to hit theatres this Christmas, December 17.
Ms. Marvel will release alongside She-Hulk and Moon Knight in 2022. Vellani will also appear in Brie Larson (Carol Danvers) and Teyonah Parris's (as Monica Rambeau) movie The Marvels, debut in 2022.
